If you grew up in Wilmington in the 50's and 60's, this was a popular soda shop off of Market Street in Wilmington, NC.  The kids from NHHS would risk leaving the school yard to have a hot dog, or a "School Boy" sandwich at Pappy Gay's.  Pappy and his wife ran the little business.
